The Priory Lodge School is a co-educational, purpose-built day school in South West London for young people aged 7 to 19 with high functioning autism and associated needs.
We offer a stimulating and enriched education for older primary and secondary pupils, covering entry levels, GCSEs, BTEC options and, at post-16, some A levels. In addition we enable students to develop life and independent living skills.
Priory Lodge School’s vision is reflected in its Mission Statement: ‘Enabling pupils to become successful learners, responsible citizens and confident individuals’, we work with passion and dedication to making a real impact on improving the lives of our pupils and their families.’
Achieving positive outcomes
We are delighted to share with you the news that 90% of our recent student leavers at Priory Lodge School have successfully moved on to mainstream further education (FE) college placements. After receiving exceptional results, our leavers are beginning a range of courses, including animation, catering, computer science, mechanical engineering, music production and performing arts.
Just under 70% of GCSE entries this year were also awarded a pass grade, including one student gaining six passes at Grade 5 and above is now going on to sixth form college.
Quotes from our latest Ofsted inspection report
“Pupils’ starting points are usually below those typical for their age and pupils tend to have gaps in their education. Those who attend regularly in all of the key stages make good progress both academically and in developing their personal, social and life skills.”
“The curriculum is providing a good range of courses and qualifications which help to prepare pupils for adult life.”
“Teachers know their pupils’ individual needs well, both the academic and the personal and social. They tailor the approaches they use to help pupils make good progress.”
