Curriculum information

Kingsbrook School offers a broad and balanced curriculum which is based on the Independent School Standards and is guided by the National Curriculum. We place a particular emphasis on core subjects and personal skills to address any significant gaps in previous learning.

We offer a variety of qualifications for students in key stages 3-5 including GCSEs, Vocational and Functional Skills in a range of subjects including:

• Art and Design
• Information Technology
• Life Skills
• Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE)
• Physical Education

In addition, we encourage students to become involved in practical based and therapeutic learning in our Horticulture and Animal Zones. Qualifications are available in both Horticulture and Animal Care for interested students.
