Specialist school facilities
Kingsbrook School has been specifically designed with the needs of its young people in mind with bright, spacious and modern classrooms and up-to-date IT support in each room, including Interactive White Boards, desktop and laptop computers and I-Pads. There is a significant amount of outside space thanks to our quiet rural setting. The school is also divided into six teaching zones (two classrooms, a DT and a FT room, and the animal and horticulture areas).
Kingsbrook School has a regular programme of school trips both within the local area and further afield. These trips are offered to encourage our young people to learn within the community, as well as to help bring education to life for pupils. Examples of popular excursions could include visits to:
- Places of worship
- Various local farms
- High altitude indoor trampoline park in Norwich
- Thorpe Woodlands outdoors adventure centre
Clubs can be arranged during school hours for students with particular interests e.g. football, chess etc.
We have the opportunity to take students to a local woodlands outdoor adventure centre during the academic year. Activities are built around developing skills and team building and include:
- High ropes course
