Fees and funding

Typically, local authorities, social services, education departments and health departments will be responsible for referring young people to Kingsbrook School and paying the associated fees. Individuals are allowed to apply directly, however the fees would be prohibitive in making this a likely pathway in the vast majority of cases.

Kingsbrook School has a transparent pricing structure, our fees are based upon the individual’s needs. Specific elements of the fee, e.g. therapy costs, will be different in each case. Fees are reviewed annually with referral agencies and adjusted according to identified changes in need.

Exam Results Summary

Kingsbrook School believes in helping young people to access examinations when the time is right for them. What this means in practice is that our students take exams throughout their school career. We believe that this exposure to examinations and exam conditions will reduce the student’s anxieties and therefore allow them to do their best.

Students will be entered for qualifications (from functional skills and vocational skills to GCSE’s) through various assessment boards including Assessment & Qualifications Alliance (AQA), Edexcel and NCFE.
