Activities and facilities

An environment that meets young people’s sensory needs

Tadley Court School has been specifically designed with our students’ sensory needs in mind so that we create an environment which supports them to learn. Standout features include:

  • Carefully chosen colour scheme which creates a low arousal environment
  • Consideration given to the acoustics in learning spaces to keep noise to a minimum
  • TEACCH-based classrooms
  • Use of Picture Exchange Communication (PECS)
  • Classrooms with group work areas as well as individual work stations

As a school, we organise a variety of events throughout the year which give students, parents and staff the chance to come together. These may include:
