A understanding of Asperger Syndrome
As one of the region’s largest specialist further education colleges, Farleigh Further Education College leads the way in terms of understanding Asperger Syndrome. All our staff are expected to have an in-depth understanding of Asperger Syndrome and the way in which each student may be affected by this. By recognising and understanding the challenges that our young people face, staff are better able to form trusting working relationships with students and helping them to manage their anxiety now and into adulthood.
