Signs and symptoms of autism in teenagers

At Quay View School, all students have the option to meet with Careers South West and take part in our careers focused activity days. Students have the opportunity to access a range of work experience opportunities to support their transition to adulthood. These placements build on aspects of employment skills, which can also be delivered through ASDAN or NOCN.
It is important for our most complex students, whose needs may prevent them from accessing some work placements, to still have the opportunity to be provided with these experiences.
We endeavour to ensure that all our students leave us with a clear transition plan and skills to support them to be as independent as possible, supported by the professional network that supports them.
