We strongly believe that well-trained staff are essential in creating a successful school and living environment. Here at Quay View School, we make staff learning and development a key priority in order to ensure that we are always providing the best possible standard of education and care for the young people we support.
Quay View School is led by Stuart Ridley the Executive Headteacher and an experienced Senior Leadership Team covering teaching and learning, wellbeing and safeguarding leaders.
The team of teachers is led by two senior staff with TLR responsibilities, with teacher's line managing their consistent team of Teaching Assistants.
The Teaching Assistant team is highly qualified and dedicated to providing direct support in lessons, running intervention programmes or leading individual sessions overseen directly by teachers.
The education team is supported by a team of therapists providing Behaviour Support, Art therapy, Speech and Language therapy, and Counselling covering CBT, Thrive and PACE approaches.
The relationships we have with our children and young people is part of our education and care foundations, and this is continually developed through engagement activities, enrichment opportunities, events and offsite visits, of which there are many.
