The criteria for admission to Sketchley School are a combination of individual, family and school environment factors. The school will review all relevant and recent reports which will usually include:
- Education Health and Care Plan
- Last school’s report
- Social history and any relevant reports
- Psychologist’s reports
- Psychiatric report (if any) and diagnosis of special need
- Any other factors e.g. other disability (epilepsy, visual impairment)
We believe that all children with special educational needs, whose local authority and parents wish it, should have a right to be considered as appropriate for assessment for admission. Pupils will be assessed against the admission criteria we set.
