Our Testimonials

We understand that deciding where to send your child to school is a big decision and that you need as much information as possible to help you make the right choice for you and your family. That is why we have asked parents, carers and young people themselves to share their views and experiences of Sketchley School. The testimonials below aim to give you a real insight into our services, the way we work and the outcomes you can expect.

Our latest testimonials

“As soon as we initiated contact with Sketchley and met Susanna we knew that you were exactly what (our daughter) needed and set our sights on securing this for her. The amount of support, knowledge and expertise Susanna and Marie were able to provide was pivotal for us and spoke volumes. It was the first time in over three years that (our daughter)] was able to display positivity and contact with any form of educational contact. Our daughter will need a lot of support but we wholeheartedly know she will receive this at Sketchley”

“I don’t like to think about the past, I think that in life it’s important to keep moving forwards. Without this place I wouldn’t be who I am today. I’d still be confused. I’m excited about the new things in life now, and that’s good"

“Sketchley is kind of like a heart transplant. You can either accept that it will make your life better, or you can reject it and get nothing"

“To the amazing people that have helped me, thank you to all the staff for just making kids’ lives better…Priory helped me feel like I fitted in more and gave me a sense of direction that I couldn't get with mainstream school”

“Progression House have helped by giving me support throughout college classes when I’ve needed it and in-house on site, in lessons from their wide group of staff members who work really well with young adults with autism. The life skills lessons that take place at Progression House do a great job in helping students out for getting ready in adult life. I have become so confident in my writing ability thanks to my English lessons that I launched my own news website after getting accepted on to the Journalism College course."
