Education Services

Many of our young people arrive at Sketchley School behind in their education and very wary about returning to school. With our support, they not only catch up with their studies, but consistently achieve academically, while developing the life skills they need for a fulfilling and independent future.

Our multidisciplinary team undertake a thorough assessment of each child, enabling us to plan a highly personalised package of learning, tailored to their individual needs. Many of our young people have suffered trauma such as exclusion or bullying in previous schools, which can be a barrier to learning. Our focus is on providing a school experience that works for each young person, building their confidence and self-esteem so that they feel ready to engage with learning again.

“Pupils make good progress with their learning and personal development throughout their time at the school. The curriculum prepares them well to move through the different stages of their education and achieve creditable success in external examinations"

Sketchley School Ofsted Report

“Sketchley is kind of like a heart transplant. You can either accept that it will make your life better, or you can reject it and get nothing”
