Most of our young people are still on roll at their school in the community. Our school can act as a host centre for exams.
Pupils achieve their GCSE’s and A levels whilst they are in-patients. In the Summer Term 2016 five young people sat GCSE exams whilst in-patients at the hospital, of these, three achieved 6 GCSEs, one achieved 4 GCSEs and one achieved 1 GCSE. 52% of the 23 GCSEs achieved were at grade C or above (12/23). Two pupils completed AS Levels whilst in-patients, one achieved a grade C in 1 AS level, the other achieved grade B in 2 AS levels.
In the Summer Term 2017 four pupils sat GCSE exams whilst in-patients, of these, two patients sat and achieved 5 GCSEs, one patient sat and achieved 2 GCSEs and one patient sat and achieved 1 GCSE. 61% of the 13 GCSEs achieved were at grade C/4 or above (8/13).
In the Summer Term 2018 one pupils sat GCSE exams whilst in-patient, they achieved 5 GCSE’s, of these 4 were at grade C/4 or above.
