Our school provides a broad and balanced curriculum that reflects national guidelines but also matches learning activities to meet the individual needs of our young people. We have an ethos of achievement across all aspect of learning and are committed to ensuring that all of our young people are equipped with the core skills of literacy, numeracy, health & well-being. The education and care teams have a shared understanding of pupil’s learning targets and use learning and teaching experiences, as well as outcomes to plan for a valid and reliable assessment of breadth, challenge and application of their knowledge, skills and attributes. Every opportunity for learning is capitalised upon across 24 hours in the life of our school in order to enhance the development of appropriate social behaviours and personal skills.
We offer choice for young people within a wide range of outdoor activities and utilise our own site, local facilities and residential experiences to provide an education outdoor curriculum programme with an emphasis on physical education.

Troup House School also provides ASDAN including a wide range of subjects from craft design technology to modules on childcare.
