Ticehurst Hospital School offers a range of opportunities for young people working in conjunction with their education. Students are encouraged to contribute to a wide range of activities including the organisation, and hosting of various charity events throughout the academic year. Such events include Macmillan Coffee Mornings.
The school encourages gradual integration into the community and supports students with this as part of their discharge plan. This includes links with local volunteering and employment establishments where in which students are able to learn valuable employability skills and can establish community relationships successfully.The expansive grounds enable students to Get involved in extracurricular activities such as our horticulture programme which encourages gardening as a therapeutic activity and enables the students to work as a team and develop additional skills as part of their education here at Ticehurst Hospital School. The safety and wellbeing is paramount and the support that we give helps to build resilience and independence in our young people.
