Transitioning services

Talocher works in partnership with The Dallaglio Foundation, colleges, employers, vocational training centres and multi-agency teams  to ensure that none of our leavers are NEET (Not in education, employment or training). We also have a dedicated in-house careers’ coordinator who is responsible for developing individualised transition plans for each of our students.

Finding the right fit Post-16

We prepare our students for transitions by focussing on developing the skills they need to move smoothly to the next stage of their life. At Talocher, students are supported to explore a range of Post-16 routes, including:

  • Employment
  • Education
  • Training
  • Preparation for adulthood
  • Independent living skills

Progressing towards individual aspirations

We take the time to get to know each of our young people’s future plans and aspirations and then work to help them achieve their full potential.
