We have a range of weekly and monthly community education services that young people are involved in, such as:
Each week, all of the young people are timetabled to attend a community trip within the local area. This helps to develop their social, money handling and communication skills.
Once a week, a small group of young people have the opportunity to work on a local working farm open to the general public. This includes feeding, grooming and cleaning tasks as well as answering any questions from the general public.
Every month, the young people attend a rewards trip. This is based on a rewards system and recognises those that have shown commitment to their therapeutic timetable, behaviour management and recovery. The trip is chosen by the young people and has previously been held at ice skating, cinema and adventure golf.
