The admissions process
Priory College Swindon receives an expression of interest for a placement for a student. We welcome families and young people to contact us directly to arrange an informal visit at any time of the year.
We invite the student and their parents/carers for an initial visit and tour of the college which can be done in a morning or afternoon.
If the young person and their family like the college, we invite them to make a formal application.
We invite the young person for an assessment visit at the college. This multidisciplinary assessment process typically lasts two to four hours.
We feedback our findings from the assessment visit and, if we feel we are able to meet the student’s needs, a formal placement offer is made (subject to funding).
