Kingsmere School is a specialist school for boys aged from 11 to 16 years old with complex needs which include behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (also known as SEMH or BESD). Some of the young people in our care have additional needs such as autism, post-traumatic stress disorder or attachment disorder, sexual harmful behaviour.
The school can cater for a total of up to 12 pupils at secondary level. We are a Cambridgeshire-based school, welcoming young people from across the county and also have three associated children’s homes which can provide 52 week residential care.
We aim to deliver the highest level of education tailored to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment where every student is encouraged to achieve the best possible academic, social and vocational outcomes.
Located just outside of Ely, Kingsmere School enjoys a tranquil setting in the Cambridgeshire countryside however it is still within easy reach of the facilities and amenities of Ely, Cambridgeshire.
