Sheridan School

Welcome to Sheridan School

Sheridan School is a specialist therapeutic school for boys and girls aged 8 to 16 years old with complex needs which include social, emotional and mental health difficulties (also known as SEMH). Some of the young people in our care have additional needs such as autism, post-traumatic stress disorder or attachment disorder.

The school can cater for up to 70 pupils from primary through to secondary level. We are a Norfolk-based school, welcoming young people from across the county.

We aim to deliver the highest level of education tailored to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment where every student is encouraged to achieve the best possible academic, social and vocational outcomes.

Located in the small village of Northwold, Sheridan School enjoys a tranquil setting in the Norfolk countryside however it is still within easy reach of the facilities and amenities of Thetford, Norwich and King’s Lynn.

CEOP Report

CEOP is here to keep children safe from sexual abuse and grooming online.

You can make a report directly to the CEOP Safety Centre by clicking on the Click CEOP button if something has happened online which has made you feel unsafe, scared or worried. This might be from someone you know in real life, or someone you have only ever met online. CEOP take all reports seriously and we will do everything we can to keep you safe.

As well as making a report to the CEOP Safety Centre, the CEOP Education website has information and advice to help you if something has happened to you online.

Are you being bullied?

CEOP are unable to respond to reports about bullying but if you’re being bullied and would like to talk to someone in confidence right now you can speak to Childline on 0800 1111 or talk to them online – no worry is too big or too small.

"My daughter is always talking about school"

“Whenever I drop Sarah off, I always think to myself how happy the children seem when I come to school. My daughter is always talking about school when she’s at home.”
