Throughout their time here at North Hill House School, we work with students to develop skills to prepare them for working life, including:

- Personal presentation
- Flexibility
- Attitude
We also run an enrichment programme for Year 11 students at the end of the academic year. This is very much focused on cultural and spiritual elements and working with local charities.
Pupils can take part in an Independence Programme to develop their confidence and skills around school and in the wider community. Pupils develop life skills and understanding such as money management and staying healthy through the curriculum, especially PSHE and Careers.
Residential pupils learn to keep their rooms clean and tidy, prepare snacks, wash up, change their bedding and manage their laundry.
